The 3rd International Summer School deals with safety, assessment, monitoring and strengthening of existing bridges. Topics for the school will include:
- Bridge safety assessment and monitoring;
- Rehabilitation and strengthening of existing bridges;
- Prestressed concrete bridge technologies;
- UHPFRC and FRP strengthening systems;
- Numerical modelling and nonlinear analysis;
- Advanced materials for bridge repair;
- Experimental testing and real case studies;
- Reuse and upgrading of bridge components;
- Design approaches according to international standards.
